The Town of Innisfil is hosting an A.I. Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs starting on May 30 and running weekly until June 13.
Delivered through the town’s DMZ Innisfil business accelerator, in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures and the County of Simcoe, the boot camp will help clarify the complexities of artificial intelligence (A.I.) and demonstrate its capacity to enhance business operations for entrepreneurs and business owners across Simcoe County.
“This event is a testament to Innisfil’s forward-thinking approach and our dedication to empowering local businesses with the tools and knowledge to thrive in the digital age,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “We are excited to see the positive impact this boot camp will have on entrepreneurs throughout Simcoe County.”
The A.I. Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs will feature three sessions, which include the Introduction to A.I. for Business, A.I. for Marketing, and Implementing A.I. in Business Operations and Beyond workshops.
The sessions will provide participants with essential knowledge of the fundamentals of A.I. and practical advice on how to use A.I. tools to streamline business operations and drive business growth. Participants will enjoy hands-on interactions with A.I. tools, and all skill levels including beginners are encouraged to join.
The A.I. Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs aligns with Innisfil’s economic development strategic plan by supporting an innovation-enabled economy, one of the key goals identified in the plan.
The partnership with Nottawasaga Futures and the County of Simcoe also reflects the strategic goal of fostering a cohesive community by leveraging resources and expertise to support economic development. Overall, the boot camp is a proactive step towards creating an investment-ready Innisfil and enhancing community amenities and assets through technological empowerment.
The A.I. Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs will take place on May 30, June 6, and June 13 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants must sign up to take part in the boot camp by May 28. For more details, and to register, visit innisfil.ca/AIBootcamp.
